This privacy policy sets out how 73 Strings SAS (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses and protects your data when you use our Product(s), platform and related services (“Services”).
This privacy policy gives you information about how we collect and use your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide when you register with us, sign up to our newsletter, or use our Services. This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. Please read this Policy carefully.

This policy outlines the manner in which Personal Data is collected, purpose for which such Personal Data is collected, third parties to whom such Personal Data may be disclosed and details of how to request for correction of Personal Data, withdrawal of consent, period of retention of Personal Data and grievance redressal etc.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU
“Personal Data” means any information that relates to an individual which either directly, or indirectly in combination with other information we have or likely to have or have access to, could be used for identifying such person.
The Personal Data that we may collect from you through our platform and/or Services includes, but is not limited to:
- Identity Data and Contact Data includes first name, last name, any previous names, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender, billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Financial and Transaction Data includes bank account, payment card details, address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, location, browser plug-in types and versions, [operating system and platform, device ID] and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
- Profile and Usage Data includes your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, search queries, email address, page views, website navigation, feedback and survey responses and any other information about how you interact with and use our website, products and services. When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
- Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
- Other Data which includes any other information you provide while using our Services and information that is generated while using our Services, any information contained in your communications that you send us by e-mail, telecom messaging or application messengers, etc., any information received by the Company for processing of data; and/or (b) stored or processed under a lawful contract or otherwise.
We also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data which is not personal data as it does not directly (or indirectly) reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate individuals’ Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature in order to analyse general trends in how users are interacting with our website to help improve the website and our service offering.

OPTING OUT OF MARKETING

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Whenever we transfer your personal data within the 73 Strings Group, to our overseas offices out of the EEA to countries which have laws that do not provide the same level of data protection as the applicable laws in EU, we always ensure that a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring that the following safeguards are implemented.
DATA SECURITY
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
DATA RETENTION
The Personal Data may be collected and/or retained, either directly by us or through our affiliates, employees etc. We (or any person on our behalf) will not retain the collected information for longer than is required for the purposes for which such information may be lawfully used or is otherwise required under any law for the time being in force, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing our legal agreements and policies. The Personal Data collected shall only be used for the purpose for which it has been collected and for no other purpose.
We may determine the appropriate retention period in relation to your Personal Data on the basis of nature and sensitivity of such Personal Data and potential risk arising from its unauthorized use or disclosure, and subject to applicable legal requirements. If certain data is not deleted in entirety from our systems, the same shall be protected by appropriate privacy mechanisms to avoid unauthorized disclosures.
In some circumstances we will anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

- Right to Access – Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you, without any additional cost, unless such request is unreasonably excessive.
- Right to Correct – Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
- Right to Erase – Request erasure of your Personal Data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it, or where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), or where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
- Right to Object – Object to processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your right to object. You also have the absolute right to object any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling (see OPTING OUT OF MARKETING above) for details of how to object to receiving direct marketing communications).
- Right to Data Portability – Request the transfer of your personal data to you or to a third party. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.
- Right to Withdraw Consent – Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data (see the table in section 4 for details of when we rely on your consent as the legal basis for using your data).
- Right to Restrict Use of Data – Request restriction of processing or using of your personal data.
It is important that the Personal Data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your Personal Data changes during the period for which we hold it.

You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO so please contact us in the first instance.
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
MISCELLANEOUS
We keep our privacy policy under regular review. We reserve the right to change this privacy policy as we may deem necessary, at sour sole discretion, from time to time or as may be required by law.
This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted according to the law of France. All disputes arising under the Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of France, EU.
If any court or competent authority finds that any provision of this privacy policy (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision will, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of this privacy policy will not be affected.
